I am a 33-year-old self-starter committed to making a meaningful impact through my entrepreneurial and healthcare pursuits. I launched The Voices Podcast, which has gained an international audience, and I have successfully founded Greg’s Soul Kitchen, a popular restaurant in Southern California, as well as Eclectic BaeKaRee, a bakery in Texas. My 12+ years of experience in cooking and managerial roles have honed my skills in business operations, team leadership, and customer service. Additionally, I have call center and front desk experience, demonstrating my ability to adapt and excel in various professional environments.Currently, I am enrolled at Pima Medical Institute (PMI) on the nursing track, where I am enhancing my clinical and critical care skills. My education includes hands-on clinical rotations in NICU and ICU settings, preparing me for high-stakes medical environments. I also serve as the class representative for all semesters of my nursing program, acting as a liaison between students and faculty. This role has strengthened my leadership, communication, and organizational skills as I advocate for my peers and foster a supportive learning environment.Previously, I served as Vice President of Ujima, the Black Student Union at Riverside City College, where I promoted cultural awareness, unity, and support for Black students. My experiences in these leadership roles have further developed my ability to create inclusive and collaborative communities. I am passionate about combining my diverse experiences in entrepreneurship, healthcare, and leadership to make a positive and lasting impact. As I continue my nursing journey, I remain committed to lifelong learning, personal growth, and contributing to the communities I serve in meaningful ways.
