I am a Registered Nurse and have spent the past 20 years in both military and federal service. In 2001, I realized I wanted to become the Nurse Manager I always wanted to have. And so, I decided to begin my journey in healthcare administration while still keeping in touch with my nursing clinical skills. Since 2010, I've pursued my goals in healthcare administration full-time and love it! There is nothing greater for me than helping smart clinical and administrative staff do really great things together and for patients. When I'm not working, I am usually with my wife and three children enjoying hunting, fishing, travel, and church activities. I am very much a farmer at heart with the love of the outdoors, the hard work ethic, and the desire to see things nurture and grow.I am always striving to bring 100% to the work I do, Whether its successful military operations and being named "Field Grade Officer of the Year (2013)", or opening a new 40,000 sq ft outpatient clinic with the highest patient and staff satisfaction scores in my healthcare system (2015). I have proven organizational leadership skills; and have met or exceeded goals within many different healthcare settings.Specialties:- Inpatient/Outpatient healthcare settings- Strong understanding of rural health environments and inherent patient needs- Tele-health management- Initial setup and/or reorganization of leadership teams- Strong communication and relationship building skills (Strengths Finder 2.0)- Maximizing existing staffs' capabilities for strong mission accomplishmentI can be reached at kopphealthcareconsulting@yahoo,com or gregory.kopp@va.gov
