I work as a Software Verification Engineer at Abbott to ensure the quality and safety of software used in Electrophysiology procedures. I have worked with software requirements and wrote tests to ensure the requirements are satisfied. I work with our automated testing team to write scripts in Python to improve efficiency and reliability of the testing team. I also work to develop and maintain the infrastructure used to run our suite of 1700 tests on our test farm efficiently with minimal outages to provide continuous feedback to the development team. I have also developed and maintained software used in a flight simulator used to train commercial airline pilots. Some projects include resolving performance issues encountered by the customer, and integrating engine and flight control modules into an existing simulation framework. Languages used include C++, Python, and Fortran. I often interfaced with customers, either remotely when providing support for our devices, or by traveling on site to support the acceptance and qualification of flight training devices.
