I facilitated the identification and execution of numerous productivity initiatives, and I identified & helped improve multiple process & safety opportunities through my routine Gemba walks. These initiatives and improvements impacted the financial scorecard’s expenses, variance, losses, labor, & absorption (overhead) metrics, saving over $11M, reducing waste & errors, and simplifying processes. Examples include:•Media preparation kanban system saving over $2M the first two years of use, reduced hazardous waste generation, and cutting media “emergency” orders from 25% to 5%.•Filter utilization improvements saving over $1.5M since implementation and reducing environmental impact by producing less refuse.•Raw material consumption reductions saving over $2M in some of the most expensive materials used to produce antigens. •Antigen process optimization saving nearly $1M in a year and improving production capacity constraints.I created several financial and quality visual dashboards using multiple Office 365 applications such as Excel, Power Automate, & Power BI to easily identify trends and process improvement opportunities. I used multiple lean and six sigma tools such as A3 problem solving, Kaizens, capacity analyses, process mapping, standard work & waste analyses, SIPOC, and many more to aid in the facilitation and execution of my improvement initiatives. I was publicly recognized and rewarded multiple times for my work and the results achieved.
