Appointed to rebuild relationships with key stakeholders, developing tourism & economic strategy, marketing, communications, media contact, events, investment opportunities and community engagement!• Directed effective and sustainable planning opportunities that enabled Deniliquin to evolve whilst retaining its close relationship with the business and local community. • Researched new economic projects including new Regular Airport Passenger Service and Freight, secured an investor for a new Retirement Village build, and investment of a regional Rail Hub. Secured grants from NSW State Government to assist in infrastructure upgrades.• Earned the position of “Finalist NSW State Tourism Awards and Finalist Inland Tourism Awards”.• Rolled out new tourism events including. Matchmakers and the CMCA Rally 25th anniversary that saw 2200 visitors add $5Mil to the local economy.
