Greg Logan is an architect who has designed and overseen construction of projects ranging from institutional buildings to private homes and gardens. He is also an adjunct professor at Wentworth Institute of Technology where he focuses on the narrative and aesthetics of time in the built environment. Greg has spent many years of his adult life in Japan as a designer, student, and independent researcher and has written, exhibited and taught extensively on Japanese material culture. The son of a metalsmith and the grandson of tool and die makers, Greg is committed to the role of handicraft and other non-modern design processes. He received his Master in Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, an MA in Japanese Studies from Sophia University in Tokyo, and a BA in Religious Studies from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
