Collecting water and wastewater samples, field tests, pH, residual chlorine, dissolved oxygen. Manage sampling events and schedule for clients. Additional responsibilities include front end/customer service, login data and samples, and health and safety officer.

• Party Chief• Operate Trimble R7 and R8 GPS systems. Travel/company truck, 40+hrs/wk. Skills with measuring points, staking out lines/points, computing points and lines. Typical work includes as-built pipelines, property surveys, river surveys, subdivision plots, as-built/plotting foundations for construction crews. Also utilize conventional survey equipment such as Nikon Total Station, back sights, and prism poles. Setting/plotting points, measurements, as builds, and developing control points. Work environment was always outside in all weather conditions, steep terrain, chemical/oil/refinery plants, pipeline right of ways.

• Lead teams of 12-16 members of 5th-8th grade children through teambuilding initiatives, high/low ropes, outdoor/adventure courses and educational courses. Educational course I taught include, water quality, geology, living history, etc. Adventure courses included outdoor skills, orienteering, etc. Most teams would spend 2-5 days at camp, and up to 14 hour days of adventure/courses.

• Group Volunteer Coordinator Intern• Organized and coordinated volunteer projects for the park. Most projects consisted of roadside brushing and cleaning. Additional projects included trail maintenance. Other responsibilities encompassed maintenance for the park; including chainsaw work, pot hole repair, building/installing benches and signs. Also worked with Visitor Services as interpretive ranger, speaking with visitors, trip planning, site seeing and environmental education.

Would lead school classes from 5th – 12th grade, college classes, and business groups in teambuilding/initiative, low/high ropes challenge courses, and teach environmental and outdoor skills topics. Typically instructors manage and are responsible for groups of 10-15 members for periods of up to a week.

Managed a 35x40 foot indoor climbing wall with 12 top-rope climbing stations. I also taught instructional clinics such as; Introduction to Climbing, Climbing Skills Clinics I & II, Lead Climbing Clinic, Rappelling Clinics, and various outdoor skills. Other position responsibilities involved leading outdoor adventure trips and facilitating Team Leaderships Challenges (TLCs). Working while attending school.
