10083Opened and managed new store in new market. Recruited and trained staff of 20. Built store to $1 million/year store, and maintained a gross margin of 73% or greater. Turnover since opening is below 25%, with two of my Assistant Store Managers successfully promoted to Store Manager, and had one barista promoted to ASM. Was the district's Profit&Loss specialist, and served as leader of a Regional effort to increase coffee knowledge and retail coffee sales. Responsible for researching sales trends and training effectiveness and present findings and recommendations to the Region's District Manager team. Was named the district's manager of the quarter and have served as Mentor Coach Manager for two current District Managers, and two Store Managers. Wilkes-Barre is the only store in the district to positive comp sales throughout 2009.

Team achieved numerous 5-star 100% customer snapshots during my tenure and met or exceeded sales budget. Groomed my Assistant Store Manager to assume SM role at the store, and had one shift enter Retail Management Training program, who has since become a Store Manager.

Directly supervised 5 Development Coaches who in turn supervised 120 Reservation Sales Specialists. I worked closely with the General Managers and Revenue Managers at more than 80 consolidated hotel properties to maintain high levels of service and boost sales conversion. I traveled frequently to visit the properties and participate in Regional Sales and Revenue Management meetings. I also served as Center Director during the Director's absence.

Directly supervised the activities of 3 Development Coaches, who in turn supervised 90 phone agents.Additionally I had 3 Operations Coordinators report directly to me who were responsible for the preparation ofdaily reports I had created, and optimizing staffing of the call center. I worked closely with the IT Administrator in maintaining and upgrading the call center's computer systems. I served as the center's director during her absence. I coordinated all scheduling functions for the center and report preparation for more than 50 consolidated hotel properties. I created sales incentive contests for the center and our consolidated hotel properties, and tracked their effectiveness.

Primary responsibilities included customer/community service, staff development, exceeding sales goals while remaining within budgeted payroll. Managed a 20,000 square foot store with annual sales of $3 million, and a staff of 20-25.
