About Gregory Maynard
I have always had a passion for education and believe with the right supports in place, all children can reach their educational potential. I am licensed for history in Massachusetts for grades 5-8, and 8-12, and just completed my Master's Degree in special education for moderate disabilities. In my time as an educator I have come to understand that all students learn differently, and there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to teaching. I emphasize building trusting relationships with my students to get to know them as learners and people, and differentiate my curriculum to meet the specific learning needs of each individual student. I currently teach 7th grade ancient civilizations and 8th grade civics.
