Develop and implement production and fabrication in support of The NASA Space Launch Systems. Responsible for Stir Friction Welding Processes both Conventional, and Self-Reacting and the Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing of the Liquid Oxygen and Hydrogen Domes and Tank end items. Implement and maintain various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives. Develop and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met. Develop tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Utilize Creo Parametric (ProE) to Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools. Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects. Review Engineering Designs prior to release for accuracy, inspect model to verify it’s usable for downstream tool design and manufacturing data. Develop and maintain manufacturing sketch sheets and inspection documents for MES CAPP planning.

Validate CAPII manufacturing work instruction Manufacturing Quality Inspection (MQI) points to the Engineering Drawing’s and digital data (Unigraphics). Document and report discrepancies, track per customer using Excel to report progress to management. Work continuous process improvement activities for extrude, broch, forge and bench operations on engine blades. Updated Solution Heat Treat, Age hardening, Furnace heat Treat operations in CAPPII workings instructions. Created new work instructions for new Aluminum Blade product line. Create CMM programs to inspect Blade root or airfoil data using PC-Demis software. Collect CMM, Blue light data and generate reports in Data-Page for process evaluation and improvement activities.

Joined the Boeing CH-47 team processing graphics converting Boeing Catia V5 to Kaman UG use STP4 file format. Embed manufacturing data. Restructured CAD modal data to add tooling tabs and other manufacturing data required to fabricate details. Design, Modify and maintain tooling using Catia V5. Generate detail flat patterns for programing KOMO routers and other NC controlled machines. Incorporate build data into CAPP generated Process Plans. Lead and participated in cross functional teams to develop establish and document business rules. Lead teams to Conduct studies in operations to maximize work flow and equipment utilization. Established and managed projects to introduce and implement Manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, and equipment installations. Developed process pre-plans to improve productivity, quality, costs, and efficiency of operations. Utilized CATIA V4 & V5 to review and verify engineering data prior to release into production. Created hand draw welding sequence drawings with required buy offs Used Computer Vision V4 to visually see and plan most effective process build plans.1984-1985 - Welder-Fabricator - Welder in Advanced Technology Manufacturing lab. Developed processes for Venus radar-mapping program using Neodymium YAG & CO² lasers.Representative Projects:MX Emplacer, Manufactured large handling equipment used to place the MX missile into silos. Welded/fabricated frame assemblies utilizing three-inch thick HY130 material requiring precise pre-heat and temperature control during the welding process. . Utilized ultrasonic inspection method for all HY130 welds. Utilized TIG welding to fabricate the 5052 aluminum outer shell assemblies.Venus radar mapper (Magellan), Provided support to the advanced technology-manufacturing (ATM) lab developing welding processes for 6061 aluminum alloys. Developed manufacturing process specifications for utilizing Neodymium YAG lasers in manufacturing of small welded assemblies, welded in a small vacuum chambers
