I strive to provide practical advice and act as outside general counsel including providing strategic insight on fundraising strategies, current VC trends, IP protection, and other business issues.I have unique healthcare and life science business experience and have represented clients across the healthcare delivery system from major research institutions to health information technology and compliance to large national senior housing providers. For example, I recently returned from being seconded to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center where I represented The Hutch in negotiating all of their clinical trial and other sponsored research agreements with a variety of life sciences companies.

As Chief Articles Editor, I was responsible for soliciting and editing all professional content for Volume 24. As a member of the Editorial Board I was also responsible for helping the Journal navigate its transition from its mission the Pacific Rim Law and Policy Journal to its broader mission as the Washington International Law Journal. Managed a team of 5 articles editors intaking, reviewing, and sorting hundreds of scholarly articles from across the globe to choose those that fit our mission, and editorial preferences.
