Responsible for the growth and development of the Fort Wayne metro market and implementation of the bank's metro market strategy in Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana. Lead and direct the bank's market expansion overseeing commercial lending, business banking, and treasury management. Tasked with significantly expanding the bank's lending and deposit market share in the Fort Wayne footprint.

Lead the bank to record earnings in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Responsible for commercial lending, business banking, retail lending functions, and wealth management division. Significantly expanded the bank's lending in the area of CRA & Fair Lending. Member of the Executive Committee, Asset Liability Committee, Executive Loan Committee, Senior Loan Committee, Asset Review Committee, Incentive Design Committee, and servied as the team leader for the Attract Profitable Client Relationships Theme Team—one of the four teams implementing change in the organization. Responsible for the bank’s Southern Market Area consisting of offices in Findlay (3), Fostoria, Ottawa, Glandorf, Lima (2), Elida, Delphos, and McComb. Directly responsible for the commercial lending, mortgage lending, retail lending, and branch operations of these markets. Significantly increased core deposits and loans in this market area. Actual results have exceeded budget for each review period. Personally recruited over 50 employees to the bank.

Chief Lending Officer, Executive Officer, Senior Loan Committee Chairman, Executive Loan Committee member. Significantly increased the bank’s commercial lending operations. Expanded the commercial lending staff from 3 to 19. Increased commercial loan portfolio 3000% from $32 million in outstandings to approximately $900 million in outstandings while at the same time maintaining high credit quality standards with net charge-offs in new loan growth of less than 10 basis points annually. Coordinated the centralization of the entire bank’s loan processing functions improving timeliness and documentation flow and quality. Substantially improved the bank’s overall credit quality by reducing net charge-offs and tightening underwriting standards in the commercial, consumer and mortgage lending areas.

Responsible for the commercial lending function of the bank. Assisted in the establishment of the bank’s commercial credit department. Recommended the establishment of a loan production office in Findlay. Implemented sales blitzes, recommended client Christmas party, commercial loan golf outings, and local advisory boards. Redesigned loan presentation packets and overall loan approval process.

Member of the Sales and Service Committee, Senior Loan Committee, and the CRA Committee. Solely responsible for expansion into the Seneca County region. Began operations out of a trailer in October 1994. Expanded operations in Fostoria to two branch locations with over $24 million in deposits and over $30 million in loans. Maintained and serviced over $25 million in commercial loans consisting of approximately 200 individual accounts. Primary responsibilities included serving as a community liaison, business development, commercial lending and coordinating branch operations and mortgage lending functions in the region. Developed and originated approximately $100 million in commercial loans for the bank with net charge-offs under $10,000.Vice President/Senior Lender - Commercial Lending, Findlay, OH - Responsible for commercial lending functions in the Hancock County region. Managed and supervised three other commercial lenders. Responsible for the bank's SBA loan program as well as other state and federal programs. Under my direction, the bank became the leading small business lender in Hancock County, and the commercial loan portfolio grew in excess of $40 million. Coordinated two very successful seminars highlighting financial services available to small business owners or those interested in starting their own business. Primary responsibilities included commercial lending, business development, chairing the Regional Loan Committee, and serving on the bank's CRA and Compliance Committees.Assistant Vice President - Commercial Loans - Maintained and serviced a loan portfolio of about $15 million in commercial loans consisting of approximately 200 accounts. Within six months of employment, was named team leader and was responsible for the commercial lending unit of the Hancock County region. Primary responsibilities included commercial lending and business development. Assisted in the reorganization of the bank's Commercial Credit Department.

Ordered to active duty in November 1990 supporting Operation Desert Storm in the combat zone. Served in a junior leadership position with primary duties consisting of instructional classroom training, motivating and leading fellow guard members and successfully maintaining and operating heavy equipment. Selected to attend the Primary Leadership Development School in June 1988 and graduated with honors.

Maintained and serviced roughly 100 customer relationships forming a commercial loan portfolio of about $12 million. Served as a secondary loan representative for 20 other accounts. Maintained offices in Findlay, Fostoria and Tiffin with dealings in Bowling Green and Lima as well. Significantly increased cash management services resulting in a highly ranked performance in the bank's Toledo district.Business Banking Representative, Sylvania, Ohio - Maintained and serviced approximately 40 customer relationships for their loan and depository needs. Served as a secondary loan representative for approximately 20 other accounts. Worked closely with both the state and federal loan programs for small to medium-sized businesses. Credit Analyst, Toledo, Ohio - Analyzed client financial statements and assigned a credit rating based on the bank's risk rating matrix. Prepared financial analysis reports on loans ranging from $50,000 to $35 million for the bank's loan committee and individual loan officers. Management Trainee (Trustcorp Bank, Toledo, Ohio) - Enhanced both my analytical and interpersonal skills by working on various projects in the bank's departments. The six-month program gave me an overall view of the bank's departmental structure and allowed me to gain hands-on experience in all phases of banking.
