CODA accredited 36-month, full-time postgraduate training program with specialized clinical training and evidence-based education in all facets of periodontology and dental implantology. Curriculum places an emphasis on a wide range of osseous, regenerative and periodontal plastic surgical techniques as well as all aspects of surgical oral implantology.

CODA accredited year-long general practice residency located at a Federally Qualified Health Center providing comprehensive dental care to diverse patient population with clinical experiences in all aspects of general dentistry. Rotations through hospital services include OMFS, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and Community Health. Participation in weekly didactic lectures and monthly ACGME grand rounds.

Participated in summer research program under mentorship of Dr. Kabilan Velliyagounder. Conducted research studying the biofilm interaction of Streptococcus mutans and Candida albicans treated with human lactoferrin.

Conducted research studying the predatory behavior of Bdellovibrio bacteriovorus and its potential as a novel therapeutic to treat gram-negative infections and select agents. Thesis completed under mentorship of Dr. Daniel Kadouri titled “The effect of intranasal and intravenous inoculation of Bdellovibrio bacteriovorus in a mouse model.”
