Have created Ole Foods from scratch for Brookshires Grocery Company, and have assisted other fine Grocers such as Balls Foods, Alberstons Inc., Horner Foods, Martins Foods, Super S Foods, SW Supermarkets, Harps, Strack and Van Till, and even helped Gigante of Mexico come to the USA.. From 2002 to 2007 I worked three weeks a month with Brookshires. I was a quasi employee. the first contract was for three years. The second was for two years. Roger Story, and Mark Brookshire were who I reported to. I also did some conculting work for Super S Foods 2 separate one year contracts while I was operating the GYM (one week per month)

OWNER/OPERATOR ANYTIME FITNESS March 2007 to March 2012I moved to San Antonio to take care of my Father Needing to be close by I opened a fitness center. My father has passed and I have no restrictions on my time. I had Responsibility for a 17,350 sq ft Anytime Fitness Center. Started from scratch hit over 2,000 members (average club about 350), biggest club membership in the country over 1700 franchises. Converted 80% of 1st visits to join club. Fitness Centers sales managers seldom average over 50%. This was a very personally rewarding occupation. I have closed the GYM and want to work in the Supermarket industry again. Once a grocer always a grocer.

Acted as the key merchandising resource for the company. All Merchandisers, Store Supervisors, Advertising, and Marketing personnel reported to me. Responsible for purchasing, sales, gross margin, SPMH, establishing operating procedures, pricing, shrink, inventory control, and Category Management, for this $700,000,000.00 a year company. Under my leadership, helped Fiesta increase same store sales by 12%, and took a $7MM loss to a profit of 1.6MM within my first quarter as Director of Merchandising  Director of Merchandising at Fiesta included being over Marketing, Advertising, writing all operational policies, and procedures. directors, merchandisers, and supervisors of all departments Grocery, Meat, Produce, Bakery, HBC, GM, Cold Deli, Hot Deli, Salchicheroneria, Carniceria, Seafood, Liquor, Clothing, Gourmet foods and Health foods reported to me. Brought category Management to Fiesta Created Salchicheroneria (Mexican Deli) and Carniceria (Mexican over the counter meats) departments at Fiesta. Both departments exceeded sales and gross margin and sales budgets in the first quarter and continued with excellent growth thereafter.  Only Store Director to operate a store with over a 9% bottom line EBIDA ( achieved 11% at two stores) Only Store Director to have a bottom-line profit in excess of $700K in a quarter. I did this in two different stores. Managed 5 Fiesta Supermarket stores ranging from 56K sq ft to 236K sq ft.  As Store Director, I was responsible chain wide for bringing in vitamins, mineral supplements, health foods, gourmet foods, and Indian/Pakistani foods to the international mix at Fiesta As store manager I was responsible for the software selection for labor scheduling, and implementing labor scheduling at Fiesta Mart. Led strategy to add Central and South America offerings
