I am a mental health specialist with superior communication and de-escalation techniques that I use during crisis interventions. I have experience working in psychiatric hospital settings helping people who struggle with various mental and behavioral disorders. Whether diagnosed with schizophrenia, bi-polar, major depression, autism, substance abuse, or dementia; I am always able to look pass the stigma and treat this population as regular human beings. Throughout the years I have been supervised by many great nurses, psychiatrist, social workers and counselors who have taught me many different ways in creating great therapeutic relationships. I consider myself to be a “people person” who is always motivated, reliable and fun. I have a great and appropriate sense of humor which allows me to get my point across in a delightful yet assertive manor. In any situation I can easily adapt, learn new things and able get the job done well and in a timely fashion. Currently I have been using these skills in more business like settings. I am currently working with Office Team: A Robert Half Company; where recruiters are always eager to get me into new roles. I am able to use my skills to develop great employee and client relations. Doing this I have acquired more computer skills and knowledge of business logistics. I graduated Rutgers University with a bachelor’s in psychology. I am eventually going to move forward with my education in this field the near future. I am very eager to learn new things and looking forward to what else life has to offer.
