Primary responsibility is as a member of Ambulatory and Community Connect implementation, build and support teams for the EpicCare Ambulatory product. Involved in all phases of implementation including system configuration, workflow analysis and redesign, SmartTool build, Navigator build, complex Order Transmittal solutions, and end-user/team member support and training. Responsible for e-prescribing, MidMark device integration and Chronic Disease Registry implementation, maintenance and support. Consistently provides innovative solutions for complex problems and is frequently consulted for input on support issues and projects. Involved with MyChart on an as-needed basis for build and support. Recently appointed lead role for EpicCare Link and will soon be expanding the currently implemented functionality to include In-Basket and Order Entry. Provides 24/7 support for EpicCare Ambulatory and non-Epic clinical applications as part of a on-call rotation. Posesses a working knowledge of other Epic applications: Prelude, Cadence, ASAP, Resolute PB/HB (including Charge Router), Bridges, InterConnect. Played an instrumental role in migration of legacy data NextGen to Epic.

Provided services for extraction and conversion of legacy documents (~22M) from McKession HPF for import to Epic. Document images imported to Epic blob structure and then linked to Epic patients using HL7 interface.Built custom process for extraction and conversion of documents from NextGen proprietary document format to rich text for import to Epic as transcription by HL7 interface. Created process for extraction of MidMark EKG tracings and patient photos from NextGen for import to Epic blob structure. Files then linked to Epic patients using custom Chronicles Import specifications.

Member of implementation team for NextGen application suite. Provided development and support for all NextGen applications with a focus on the electronic medical record (EMR). Responible for NextGen application upgrade planning and implementation. Responsible for database management and storage planning. Developed several add-on applications for functionality not available in NextGen which included a Chart Management System to manage paper charts, automated fee ticket printing, automated indexing and import of patient documents recieved from external sources. Skilled in clinical template design, including advanced scripting, and in clinical document creation. Created web-based application for legacy system data access. Maintained and developed core client/server decision support reports with Visual Basic, Crystal Reports and Access utilizing a RedBrick data warehouse for patient, employer, provider and payer related data. Created, ran ad-hoc and monthly reports/data files for internal and external use. Developed a PC-based Unisys A-Series operations monitor/automation system to allow batch operations to run without full time operator.

Performed all batch processing, report generation and delivery for the Clinic and Health Plans. Experienced in mainframe operations on the Unisys A-Series. Streamlined daily report delivery by introducing header pages and distributed printing. Developed a statement archive application using Visual Basic allowing on-line retrieval to view an image of the actual statement sent to a patient. Member of donor room operation staff. Prepared donors for plasma pheresis, performed venipunctures, monitored pheresis equipment and donors during collection procedure. Trained in preventative maintenance and repair of pheresis equipment. Created ad-hoc SQL reports from donor management system.
