The Operations Specialist is responsible for establishing, reviewing, and maintaining the outbound/inbound operations at the Atlanta Distribution Center, (ADC). They will work with the ADC and Operations Managers to establish and monitor plans that achieve company objectives. Responsible for gathering and using performance data to balance customer demand, optimize outbound transportation, and minimize the impact of carrier issues.Problem solve critical Outbound or Inbound load issues with the local transportation administrators.Act as the escalation point for customer service with outbound/inbound issues at the ADC.Collect, analyze, and report key outbound or inbound performance indicators for the Distribution Centers. Problem solves issues to improve indicators and drive customer delivery and Distribution Center efficiency.Manage exception messages generated by the systems related to outbound or inbound traffic (ie: oracle, four kites, etc.) in a timely manner.Support Outbound/Inbound Operations Managers to drive consistency of procedures and processes across all the Distribution Centers. Provide training on outbound/Inbound procedures and processes.Support the MDI process and provide coaching to develop the team and the process.Clear daily discrepancy reports related to warehouse outbound/inbound operations.

Perform supply chain activity from entry to exit for official and unofficial inventory and other supplies or equipment received, distributed, maintained and managed physically and logistically by the Materials Management Department throughout a selected Emory Hospital, Warehouse, Distribution Center or Supply Chain EnvironmentMaintains Supply Chain Inventory locations utilizing enhanced technology supported devicesConducts inventory for dynamically changing Par Level Supply locations and recommends order placement for supply replenishment while counting and processing orders for PurchaseRecommends par level changes based on trending data utilizing SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT software system to assist in data analysisFormulates the effect of supply chain item data change while forecasting need, change and adjustments to inventory to guarantee product availabilityDelivers and replenishes Supply Chain Inventory location supplies based on orders generated by departments or Supply Chain StaffArranges, receives, processes and distributes supplies and equipment

Research PO discrepancies, run daily Receiving Worksheets, schedule appointments, key in daily KPI data, confirm PO’s, forward Product Discrepancy Reports to buyers daily, maintain Locked ULL report, distribute RF guns, report space needs daily, and troubleshoot RF issues

Updates receipts on a daily basis. Inputs any transfers, returns to brewery, out-of-code and breakers, and any other transactions pertinent to inventory reconciliation.Counts entire physical inventory including warehouses A, B, C, short coded area, miscellaneous area, loading dock, extra trucks without load sheets.Reconciles floor count vs. computer floor inventory.Distributes various inventory reports (i.e. Stock Status and Physical Inventory Variance Reports) to the Corporate Inventory Manager, VP-Internal Operations, and the CFO.Works with Corporate Inventory Manager on inventory levels, Out of stocks, Code date awareness, Management of inventory filesWorks with branches regarding any inventory issues/problems.Interfaces with warehouse on all inventory issues/problems and assist in resolutions.
