CurrentQuality Control Coordinator, Toho Water Authority Laboratory, Toho Water Authority, Kissimmee, FL● Designated with Florida Department of Health as Technical Manager and Quality Manager for compliance with Florida Code 64E-1 & The NELAC Institute (TNI) 2016 Laboratory Standards (EL-V1M2-ISO-2016-Rev2.1) for following fields of accreditation ● Oversee daily work of 4 Chemists & 2 Water Quality Assurance Technicians ● Administer & report proficiency tests for 31 analytes for laboratory accreditation & 137 demonstrations of capability for 5 analysts annually● Provide testing, data, & reports for 14 water plants serving 10 Public Water Systems & 8 wastewater plants for a utility that treats & distributes approximately 37.5 million gallons of potable water & reclaims 27 million gallons of wastewater each day.● Review, approval, & reporting for 25,500 sample tests & 16,800 quality control tests including 3,777 drinking water & 16,909 non-potable water client reported tests annually● Write, edit, & maintain 64 Standard Operating Procedures● Administer & develop the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) which includes 138 reports, 1,182 screens & integration with 6 instruments including data transfer (import/export)● Created & facilitated training for 20+ field services staff members covering boil water sample collection, Florida Department of Environmental Protection field activities SOP (DEP-SOP-001/01), documentation requirements, and notification procedures.● Onsite expert & facilitator for external semi-annual compliance audits for Florida Department of Health● Compose & maintain official communication with Florida DEP, Florida DOH, & designated contractors concerning laboratory certification, reporting, and compliance● Installation, configuration, & integration of 24 laboratory software packages with existing systems including software validation for the laboratory's 15 MOTS (Modified Off the Shelf) & Custom software packages
