Gregory Watson has more than 20 years of experience in analyzing large datasets to answer public policy questions. In March 2014, he founded Watson Policy Analysis.From 2005 through the start of 2013, Mr. Watson was at The Moran Company, specializing in analysis of Medicare payment policy issues. In that role, he replicated and simulated alternative payment policies for different aspects of the Medicare Fee for Service (FFS) program, including:• Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS);• Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS);• Long-Term Care Prospective Payment System (LTC-PPS); and• Partial Hospitalization Program Prospective Payment System (PHP-PPS)In addition, he conducted and led analyses of many other Medicare and health care policy issues. Mr. Watson was a Partner in The Moran Company during most of his time there.Prior to joining The Moran Company, Mr. Watson spent more than 10 years at ICF International, conducting various projects primarily relating to housing policy. In this role, he conducted and led extensive analyses using data such as the American Housing Survey (AHS), the Current Population Survey (CPS), as well as a variety of other data sources. In addition, he participated in and managed numerous projects involving the collection and analysis of survey data. Mr. Watson originally started at ICF as a Research Assistant and left as a Vice President.
