Managed union staff of 2 Electricians, 5 HVAC/Refrigeration Mechanics, 6 Carpenters and 2 painters. Also managed the Mid-Atlantic Region including Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. Managed 6 non-union store engineers and 3 non-union painter/carpenters.Maintenance included HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical Distribution, Phone System, General Building repairs/maintenance with expertise in troubleshooting and programming energy management systems.

Worked as a Machinist Mate in the engineroom and auxiliary machinery spaces performing preventative maintenance and repairs. Obtained qualifications as lower-level engineroom operator, upper-level operator, distilling plant operator, throttleman and several other watch-stations. Obtained certifications as guage calibration petty-officer, potable water king, boiler water feedwater treatment and testing, supply petty officer, controlled materials petty officer, PQS qualifier and several others. Received several letters of commendation for my work as a machinist mate aboard the USS Joseph Hewes FF-1078.
