About Greg Allan

I started learning HTML as a kid in 1997. At the same time, I was learning design software like CorelDRAW, Jasc PaintShop Pro, Macromedia Flash and gif creation tools. I got into digital painting with a Wacom tablet, was a part of forums, design communities, and groups that designed and developed (Flash, frameset and table based layout) websites for pure fun; a lot of it was related to video games. It got me into an Interactive Media college tech prep program my junior and senior year of high school, followed by my first experience working with an agency before graduating.Over 25 years later, I'm still working in a field related to all of these core skills which I mostly taught myself and enjoy sharing with others. I'm fortunate now to be working for a software company focused on developing mobile and web applications for university research studies.
