The Northeast Consortium Bridging Access to College (NECBAC) is a chartered, non-profit organization of professional admission representatives of color affiliated with four-year private colleges and universities who are dedicated to promoting enrollment and retention of students of color.- Responsible for leading our membership of 35+ Higher Education Institutions in our mission to provide access to higher education for students of color, low-income students, and first-generation students. - Responsible for leading initiatives providing professional development and networking opportunities for BIPOC higher educational professionals and additional professionals working in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

- Served as a Liaison to the New England Association for College Admission Counseling (NEACAC) Governing Board- Coming Together Pre-Conference Co-Chair: Organized DEI-focused 1 day conference themed: “Moving from Allies to Co-Conspirators: Changing from Intent to Impact” for 70+ higher education professionals - Served as Board of Directors liaison to NECBAC Outreach Committee

- Direct all aspects of outreach in support of Dartmouth’s ongoing recruitment and yield activities for historically under-represented students - Lead Access team and supervise 4 staff members- Senior member of the department's management team - Design and lead ongoing diversity, equity and inclusion training for admissions staff- Interpret Dartmouth’s strategic communications and marketing plan to effectively differentiate Dartmouth from its competitors in all aspects of print and social media for targeted groups- Direct all aspects of undergraduate recruitment and evaluation in a designated geographic docket- Act as liaison with access organizations such as Quest Bridge, the Coalition for Access, and the American Talent Initiative among others

In this role, I will manage, direct, and coordinate the strategic planning and implementation of on-and-off campus multicultural student recruitment. I will work closely with the Chief Diversity Officer and the Director of Multicultural Student Success to help underrepresented students in both their transition to Providence College and thrive. I will coordinate the multicultural scholarship selection processes and chair the selection committee for incoming scholars.

- Organized a one day Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion focused conference themed: “Moving from Allies to Co-Conspirators: Changing from Intent to Impact” Our intention with the theme was to have admission and college counseling professionals discuss the impact of their words and actions, all while working to achieve inclusive excellence.- The Pre-Conference hosted 70+ participants from Higher Education institutions, College Counseling offices and Community Based-Organizations.- We organized breakout sessions focusing on stigmas impacting Community Colleges, implementing anti-racism efforts in the workplace, college access & success for young men of color, white allies v. white saviors, access in the context of the admission application process, and a leadership panel discussing how to navigate higher education as a person of color.- Keynote speaker addressed issues concerning inclusive leadership, burnout in higher education, the difference between transition, transaction, and transitional leadership.

- Advise 60+ students engaged in active community service in the surrounding community- Advisor for all student-run community initiatives on campus- Facilitate annual First-Year Trip, Orientation sessions, intern retreat, mid-year retreat, sophomore service exchange, and junior and senior students' capstone experiences- Oversee campus-wide service calendar - Help Plan and implement Greek service and philanthropyGreen Dot Certified, College Curriculum, Alteristic

- Responsible for screening and securing 250-300 applicants from Georgia, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., Western Kentucky and Nashville. - Act as an admissions office representative at 30-40 local, regional, and national college fairs annually. - Coordinating and awarding 40-50 New Horizons Scholarships, a $21,000 scholarship that recognizes students of color or of diverse backgrounds.- Responsible for planning Centre College’s Diversity Multicultural Weekend, a recruiting event for perspective students of color, by inviting them to campus to participate in workshops, activities, and discussions focused on diversity. - Act as the college staff advisor for the Centre College Diversity Student Union by overseeing meetings, on and off-campus projects, and supervising the club’s budget. - Serve as a member of a committee that brought the GLIMPSE Conference to Centre, this is a Diversity Student Leadership Conference and was responsible for developing workshop themes, workshop presenters, outreach to institutions for participants, and overseeing the budget for the conference. - Serve on small committee that oversees Posse Scholarship, a Full-Tuition Leadership Scholarship by screening applicants and acting as an admissions liaison for both Posse applicants and current Posse scholars.- On a committee that awards 10 Full-Tuition Scholarships to first generation college students.
