Working within a Global CBU structure in a matrix organization, lead the sales team for the North America business. Customers include Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Daimler, BMW, Volvo, VW, Kia, Hyundai. Specialty customers include Harley-Davidson and Polaris.

Led business growth activity for diesel after treatment systems and managed our motorcycle clean air business. Secured a design development agreement and subsequent production contract with Daimler / Detroit Diesel. Increased revenue with Harley-Davidson ~ ten percent by penetrating the PAC group and secured supplier of the year awards three consecutive years.

P&L responsible for ~ $500mm clean air business with Toyota, Nissan, and Honda. Secured both replacement and incremental business. Led a staff of seven including cost estimating and program management functions.

P&L responsibility for $75mm Nissan clean air and Nissan, Isuzu, & Toyota ride performance business. Secured both clean air and ride performance business on Nissan X61B platform. Part of a team that relocated strut manufacturing from Hartwell, Georgia to Celaya, Guanajuato Mexico. Led a staff of four managers.

Managed $35mm of ride performance business with Nissan, Isuzu, and Toyota. Quoted and secured incremental business.

Managed the overall program and performed global vehicle ride development activity with the customer in the USA, Germany, and Australia for the Isuzu Rodeo / Honda Passport vehicle.

Led CI activity for five North American facilities. Managed the material rejection process to drive permanent corrective action. Led activity regarding the standardization of gages / measuring methods. Conducted system audits to prepare facilities for ISO certification.

Responsible for product quality of camshaft and torque to yield cylinder head bolts produced for diesel engines. Manufacturing operations included milling, rough grinding, induction and furnace hardening, precision grinding, polishing, cold heading, roll threading, magnetic particle & visual inspection.

Automotive - disc and drum brake manufacturing and assembly operations. Hourly positions held: machine operator, set-up, floor inspector. Salaried positions held: gage technician, quality engineer.
