Lead a team of 3 direct reports, and 18 indirect reports.• Managed Active Directory project consolidating 11 domains into 3 domains, including migrating 300 servers to the root domain and decommission 130 servers. This project resulted in the reduction of over $500K of Opex expenditures per year, reducing environment complexity, increasing manageability, and simplifying the ability of future M&A activities• Manage O&M for AD, PKI, Symantec Anti-Virus, Okta SSO, and Firewall/VPN solutions.• Perform security reviews for cloud solutions: IaaS, PaaS and SaaS• Perform SOX audits and reviews for internal systems, specifically access controls

Manage all Infrastructure platforms including AS400, Mainframe, SAN/NAS Storage, Unix, VMWare, and Wintel. Oversight of primary U.S. hosted Data Center and 5 European computer rooms. Manage the relationship with 3rd party Data Center hosting partner (IBM) for all Infrastructure servers and systems.

Managed strategy and daily operation of all Enterprise Storage Systems including the design and implementation of backup and recovery solutions. Maintain vendor relationships as well as control of financial budgeting and purchasing activities. Ensure the interoperability and heterogeneous operation of all Open-Systems SAN/NAS and Mainframe SAN storage with Wintel, UNIX, and Mainframe information systems. Review and approve storage related software/hardware technology to ensure the technology solution contributes to overall Enterprise Information System goals.

Responsible for day-to-day operation of all corporate Intel-based servers. Ensure the interoperability and heterogeneous operation of all Windows 2000/2003, Windows NT, and Linux servers with AS/400, RS/6000, UNIX and other corporate information systems. Ensure that technical support for over 800 servers in four North American Data Centers and 700 other servers at various locations throughout North America is provided to over 100 application teams and 75,000 end-users. Review and approve software/hardware technology to ensure they contribute to overall corporate information system goals and establish corporate standards. Manage a team of technical analysts that are responsible for troubleshooting system hardware and operating system software to ensure continuous operations. Develop and implement corporate information security policies for server infrastructure, ensure appropriate information availability and data integrity, and monitor infrastructure utilization.

Build, document, install, upgrade, and maintain 80+ development and production servers in a data center environment. Servers and applications hosted included High Availability SQL and IIS applications, Microsoft Exchange 5.5, Microsoft Proxy Server, and other various proprietary insurance related and financial applications. Responsible for disaster recovery plan and operations as well as proper backup / restoration of all Intel-based servers using Veritas Backup Exec. Sole technical authority on Linux-based print server managing over 150 print queues for over 1500 end-users.
