Working as part of the in-house development team, implementing, testing, and improving the IFS Apps 9 and 10 ERP solution on two implementation projects. Some day-to-day responsibilities:• Developing, maintaining, auditing, and improving systems to meet the requirements of the business• Working alongside solution architects, other developers and design teams• Developing systems, configuring changes, and customising code• Reporting requests (SQL reports, Crystal reports, IFS lobbies, Power BI dashboards)• Administration and system security • Migrating data and data management

Focusing on development of the ERP solution (IFS Apps 10) and Business Intelligence. Responsibilities included:• Performing system customisation and configuration • Building and maintaining reports (Crystal reports, SQL reports, Power BI dashboards, IFS lobbies)• Maintaining up-to-date documentation • Working with other members of the Development team, the wider Business Systems team, and staff at other sites and relevant external parties• Migrating data• Support of core systems and applications

Video production for clients in the educational and corporate sectors.• Along with video editing for one educational client, I developed their website using Wordpress, HTML and CSS.• The problem-solving and technical aptitude used in video editing put me in a good position for web development, which I had an interest in for some time. • The success of this project led me to look for a way to build on those web development skills and transition into software development.
