• Spearheaded development of the Cash Availability and Trading System used by portfolio managers to accurately trade billions of dollars in liquidity mutual funds.• Directed the IT team that provided pro-active in-house support to the Investment Management Department Liquidity Group.• Led 4 programmers and 2 business analysts to create the Cash Availability and Trading System that retrieved and summarized total subscriptions and redemptions for liquidity mutual funds from internal sources and external vendors. The system ensured electronic delivery to both internal back end systems and the brokers.• Provided production support for the system and developed and implemented both continuous and new functions.• Performed additional role of a Business Analyst and supported the database tables and reporting requirements.• Maintained 7 LAN Server Domains comprising over 20 servers.• Oversaw numerous major installations including 3 Windows NT Domains consisting of 10 servers, Communications Manager Gateways for mainframe access, and 40 Windows NT Workstations within budget and on time.

• Created the disaster recovery plan that after 9/11 had Liquidity Portfolio Managers and the operations department at the World Trade Center up and running within 48 hours of the WTC bombing through use of off-site servers, setup of over 100 workstations and data replication.• Designed and installed networks using IBM LAN Server with fault tolerance.• Managed a team that included 3 programmers and 6 LAN administrators focused on overseeing all networks and computers within the Investment Management department at the World Trade Center as well as 7 LAN Server Domains consisting of over 20 servers for more than 150 users.• Performed role of operational risk officer for Investment Management. • Ensured that diverse personnel in the Investment Management Technology group met the requirements of the firms Risk Department including making certain that communications were clearly understood and that documentation was submitted in a timely manner.• Developed specifications for the gathering and summary of all of Mutual Fund subscriptions and redemptions from different internal and external systems and provided production support.
