As the Director of Real Estate, I manage of team of people in the analysis and disposition of hundreds of assets per year. Our goal as a team is to not only dispose of each property as efficiently and profitably as possible, but to source information from every transaction in order to better guide acquisitions in the future.At any given time, we are typically managing several hundred assets while simultaneously analyzing several hundred more. * Manage the disposition of a constantly changing portfolio of REO properties throughout the State of New Jersey as well as in South Carolina and Indiana.* Worked with State Legislators to change a 40 year old tax lien foreclosure law to allow for the faster and more efficient foreclosure of blighted or abandoned properties.* Perform in depth market research on each property to determine its value, market strategy and highest and best use.* Analyze data and trends within the portfolio to present regularly to the Board of Directors. Use that data analysis to find opportunities to enhance profitability for the company.

* Managed an office wide computerization project. Oversaw and tested the beta versions of the custom software. Coordinated several software and hardware vendors with the City of Philadelphia’s IT department. Trained 75-member staff, most of whom had never worked on computers before. This eliminated branch settlement errors while reducing branch settlement time by over 80%.* Developed an instant underwriting system that would evaluate loan applicants on the fly, reducing wasted effort from our underwriting department and created a double check system that lead to zero loan failures.* Oversaw all local, state and federal compliance issues, including The Patriot Act, and the filing of Currency Transaction Reports and Suspicious Activity Reports. Branch achieved 100% compliance record.* Built a referral base from current customers to significantly grow volume of clients. Turned around a loss of two business clients per month to a gain of two clients per month. * Coached and mentored teller staff with the goal of developing future sales agents; dramatically reduced employee turnover, saving time and money for the branch while improving customer's bond and loyalty.
