As the Associate Product Manager for Methven NZ, I work alongside the Product Manager and in partnership with marketing, R & D and sales to deliver new product development projects to agreed timelines.I am involved with product development from insight to development through to testing. I coordinate product development activity and ensure timelines are met as the product moves towards market launch.In collaboration with the sales team, I develop information and training presentations of product features and benefits and marketing and sales material that support a products sales success.I provide analysis in relation to pricing management, competitors and monitor the progress of a new product’s introduction to the market using Google analytics and internal product management systems.

In this role I monitored and provided weekly sales reports, analysing sales against targets. In a competitive market, I was tasked with researching products and their progress, highlighting any key issues and areas of opportunity and proposing solutions. Specifically tasked with a product roll out at Mitre 10, I created reports to support product launch and accurately manage products success.Examples of success include:• Promoted from Sales Executive to Associate Product Manager

This was my first position on graduating from university. In this role I provided assistance and support to the sales, customer services and marketing departments. I dealt with requests from retailers for promotional advertising and marketing materials as well as researching competitors to provide accurate data for reporting.Examples of success include:• Promoted from Sales and Marketing Assistant to Sales Executive.
