I lead three product engineering teams responsible for building the next generation of AI- and ML-driven features in Asana. Some of our groundbreaking launches include AI Chat (powered by retrieval-augmented generation), Smart Status, Smart Summaries, Smart Answers, and more.I am responsible for the delivery of my teams' business outcomes, as well as setting the overall technical strategy, organizational design, and partnering closely on matters of product strategy, compliance, and sales enablement.

I led an engineering org with over 60 engineers, including six engineering managers. Together with my partners in Product, Design, Data Science, and UXR, we build features and improvements to Asana to make it as easy as possible for users to discover Asana.My teams have built massive new features like the Project Grid, Home, shareable views, and the Workflow Builder. We've also launched countless optimizations and improvements to the new user journey with measurable impact on business outcomes.I was also the primary engineering manager responsible for Asana’s early career hiring. My work has brought over 100 new engineers into the company and significantly improved the diversity of the engineering team.

I am proud to have learned the craft of people management at Asana. In my time as a front-line manager, I had the opportunity to work with several product engineering teams focusing on new user adoption, monetization, administrative features, and core product functionality.

I led the engineering team responsible for internationalizing the product, making it available in multiple languages and currencies for the first time.

Contributed payment management, financial reporting, and user authentication improvements to the Stripe Dashboard.Added features to the Stripe API, including automatic sales tax calculation and management of linked accounts.

Built systems for authoring, publishing, and measuring the impact of lead-generating web pages. Technical Lead for a product used to design over 2 million responsive pages and emails.

Developed a high-performance music recommendation API used by Rdio and Spotify.Contributed to system for distributed acoustic clustering of recordings used to ingest over 50 million tracks.

Contributed to internal search and social networking platforms using emerging open source technology. Implemented native application-like performance in a mobile web interface.

Developed an application for deploying experimental internal software to the IBM Developer Cloud.
