Responsible for the development and transformation of our sourcing organization by creation of a Strategic Alliance and Major Capital Projects Sourcing Department. Technical Procurement 2004 - 2010Directed and lead an assigned staff of 5 managers and 8 administrators to develop execute and manage multiple suppliers for the repair and purchase of aircraft components. Lead cross functional teams to evaluate the marketplace, prepare and solicit RFI/FRP/RFQ requests, analyze responses, negotiate agreements, obtain approvals and manage ongoing supplier activities relative to said agreements. Provided operational and strategic analysis to identify shop core competencies, optimal mix of internal vs. external maintenance, integration of maintenance programs, and identify opportunities to expand Delta's existing 3rd party maintenance revenue business. Contract Administration - Led Commodity group through several significant business events.
