My current job is focused on providing software solutions. I have been working at my current Information Systems Analyst position in the Research Division of the University of Otago since April 2000.During this time I have successfully planned and implemented over a dozen updates, e-mail migrations, and software roll-outs in the Research Division.My personal style revolves around communication – keeping others informed and promoting dialogue. I relate to people at all levels of computer literacy.To identify requirements I listen to staff in order to elicit pertinent information that helps me to analyse the situation.I prioritise staff requests, resulting in either an immediate solution or forwarding a request to appropriate technical specialists at the University of Otago. When liaising between end-users and ITS technicians, my documentation and instructions are clear and coherent.My major achievement in my current work was the initiation and implementation of a Doctoral and Scholarships database system for the University of Otago Graduate Research School.I am committed to learning to improve myself. While working full-time, I completed a part-time Diploma for Graduates that focused on IT Leadership and Project Management.I am looking for roles that will provide some fresh challenges that build upon my skills and experience.
