Head Office

• Working as part of the senior HR Leadership Team I have formulated and successfully delivered a learning & development strategy, this incorporates a framework of IPRs, Succession Planning, Internal & external.
• The L&D Function provides a service to all functions, incorporating NI, GB and European sites, with a group headcount of circa 12,000.

• Reporting to the Site General Manager and working as part of the site Senior Management Team I was responsible for overseeing the site HR Function, providing a service to some 130 managers, with a site headcount of 2000.
• With 10 direct reports my areas of responsibility include Employee Relations, Resourcing, Non Attendance & Occupational Health, Change Management, Ethics and Training
• Overseen elements of group Learning & Development (EDGE Programme) until my above secondment

• Reporting to the Site General Manager and working as part of the site Senior Team I was responsible for all HR activities on the cheese manufacturing facility in Magheralin
• Site headcount was circa 170 – 200 (flexed with agency), in a highly unionised environment
• I had full responsibility for activities relating to HR, this included Resourcing, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Attendance Management, Performance Management, Training, Change Management

Co Down HQ / NI Region

• Reporting to the Board of Directors of this family run business headquartered in Clough, Co Down, with four sites across NI. The business was a tile, bathroom importer and distributor and construction and timber.
• I had full responsibility and autonomy for overseeing the management and execution of all recruitment & selection, training & development, health & safety, absence management, disciplinary management, performance.

Carrickfergus, N Ireland

• Reporting to the Managing Director I was responsible for the management and strategic HR matters within the factory.
• This processing facility was based at Carrickfergus, producing Offal product for the multi-national retailers
• Production was both days and nights, 7 days a week
• Duties included managing recruitment & selection, training & development, health & safety, absence management, disciplinary management, performance management.

Dundonald, N Ireland

• Reporting to the Store General Manager I was responsible for the entire HR function in Dundonald branch of 268 employees
