COVID-19 created a surge in drug and vaccine clinical studies. PRA Health Sciences hired me to help get several apps set up and deployed. The apps capture all the study data and store it for analysis by the FDA. I worked on the backend configurations, notifications, and interfaces to third party database APIs. The software was Ruby-on-Rails and RSpec, and I worked on a scrum team in a formal agile environment.
