I am responsible for cleaning fossils of debris and preparing them for study. I use small hand tools, air scribes, and air abrasion to accomplish this. The job requires patience, a steady hand, and frequent study with a microscope for smaller specimens.

Candid Slice is a news and entertainment site dedicated to giving a voice to citizens of Raleigh and the greater Triangle area. I've contributed over thirty articles, dealing with a range of topics from the history of Umstead State Park to driving tips for snowy days.While with the company I've learned how to change my writing style to suit the needs of a project. I've used formal language, informal speech, creative imagery, top-down journalism, partisan opinion, narrative critique, and other styles based upon what is most important for the subject.
