CORPORATE: TEAM LEADER; CREATIVE DIRECTION; DESIGN; BRANDING; MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS; WRITING; STRATEGIC PROJECT PLANNING. A long career across a wide variety of industry experiences - from electronics to toys to music to real estate - has set me up to help you run your company, with a specific passion for creative leadership. I work with individuals, teams, and companies to initiate & plan, track & promote, and passionately market & sell services and products. I've experienced a lot - so I can do a lot! I actually get quite enthusiastic about what you do, so keep those seat belts handy.I'd like my efforts to contribute to the world at both community and individual, daily-living levels. I'd like to know I'm part of a diverse team that embraces the concept of equity vs just putting it in a mission statement. It's OK to like Things - but wouldn't it be great if more Things were green, sustainably-sourced, recyclable, reusable, long-term keepable, and did less harm? As a 50+ person, I'm a team's age-diversity face. I'll take it. I'm a combination of old-school and what's-new, of professional and personable, of serious and funny. New tools arrive on the scene all the time, and that's helpful; however, brand principles, design, and marketing are also very often still about research, an outreach list, a phone call, a postcard, a handshake, and a follow-up. Make The Donuts, Promote The Donuts, Improve The Donuts, Repeat.__________ THE ARTS: Illustrator, artist, and writer. Member of Woolworth Walk Gallery in Asheville's booming downtown arts district. My graphic design background helps my blue-sky thinking. Seeking licensing/representation for editorial, bolt fabric, paper goods, gift market, home decor, and more. As you run amok in a zombie apocalypse, you should do so in sustainably-sourced, humanely-manufactured, low carbon footprint transported, affordably priced fabrics with my art on them. My long-term goal is that illustration and art licensing will be my "retirement career", up to around age 100, so I'm continuously in courses to improve my skills. I'm all about the long game. Plus it's good to have a personal passion, and some sense of life balance, in our busy, busy world.
Listed skills include Illustrator, Editing, Art, Public Relations, and 32 others.
