Working on the Immigration Global Management System (IGMS) project for the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment – Immigration New Zealand. Primary PM for the Identity Services project developing the biometric and biographic identity features of the IGMS system.After successfully delivering the Identity Services project, I took on the role of Development Manager for this large project team, with particular focus on overhauling our DevOps capability to enable the flexible and efficient pipeline necessary to manage multiple streams of development and delivery into complex environments. This pipeline was extended into Azure and included extensive automation to take advantage of the benefits of cloud hosted infrastructure.Customer-facing aspects of this role included advising MBIE on development practices, processes and tooling, and designing improvements to enhance the Ministry's overall software capabilities.

Responsible for development of "Renderware Studio" - a new approach to game development middleware to provide a collaborative solution that bridged the gap between ordinary graphics API's and artist/designer workflows. Used in a number of successful games including Call of Duty, The Godfather, and Harry Potter Goblet of Fire.Criterion was acquired by Electronic Arts in 2004.

Managed all aspects of software development in this start-up company that created real-time 3D graphics solutions and tools across a variety of application areas. Major customers included Daimler-Chrysler, UK Ministry of Defence, and Real3D.After just over year of successful business RealiMation was acquired by Criterion Software Ltd.
