3 Combat Support Services Battalion (3 CSSB) provides transport, supply, maintenance, and health support to the 3rd Brigade, based in Townsville. The role as the Capability and Development Office sits within the Battalion Operations Cell. It involved providing advice to the commander and facilitating the Introduction into Service of different capabilities from the project space.

Battlespace Communication Operations Group

Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) Battlespace Communications Operations Group provides through life support to all tactical radios within Defence. The Specialist Communications Technical Advisor position provided technical support and advice to all radios (HF/VHF/UHF) used by the Australian Special Forces.

Amberley, Queensland, Australia

Employed as the Senior Non Commissioned Officer in Charge of one of Australia’s largest calibration laboratories. The laboratory was able to conduct calibrations on all electrical test equipment used by defence as well as perform physical calibrations on a range of test equipment. The laboratory also had a Mobile Calibration Capability which allowed onsite calibration of test equipment at remote locations.
