Provide weekly supervision to Veterans Services staff, including subcontractors, responsible for screening and outreach. Provide support and assist staff in following policies and procedures. Attend and participate in Coordinated Access initiatives in Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington, and Clark Counties to ensure a smooth integration of Transition Projects Veterans Services. Review and approve enrollments completed by the Veterans Outreach team and staff to case managers. Review and approve VASH enrollments submitted by the VA. Oversee and guide weekly outreach strategies to locate and assist veterans on the Veterans-By-Name-List and update the list weekly. Educate and train providers and community partners on grants and available resources for veterans. Maintain the veteran services referral list and assign cases to veteran outreach team for screenings. Coordinate and oversee Veteran Orientation. Facilitate staff and team meetings in the absence of the manager. Coordinate and provide coverage for team members when they are absent. Assist with program design, implementation, and evaluation to increase access to and efficiency of case management services, as directed. Assist in developing and implementing on-the-job training and guidance for case management staff. Function as the managing supervisor of operations and staff in absence of manager and director, including extended absence and position vacancy. Contribute to the selection of staff during the hiring process.
