Managing the design and development of new and exciting refrigerated display products for the Retail Industry.

Using my retail experience I work closely with both the client and design department to turn new refrigerated display requirements into fully working and industry tested products. Following client meetings and specifications I develop initial proposals and visualisations using 3D cad software. I will then generate the manufacturing components to allow production of a prototype cabinet, create bom’s on the business ERP system and order any new or specific components. I liaise closely with the production and development teams to ensure that any new processes or procedures are identified and adhered to. After final prototype testing and customer sign off I will pass the designs to my design team to develop a full range of sizes and site options. I have developed a range of integral hydrocarbon air cooled and water-cooled high temperature and frozen food cabinets, low and full height multideck displays and deli counters for most of the retailers in the UK. I am also working with a Chinese manufacturing facility to produce our design of refrigerated cabinets for the Far East markets. My training has included in-depth knowledge of BIM using Revit architectural software and I have successfully implemented EPDM & Solidworks into the business.
