Write creative and compelling fundraising content for the Appalachian Trail Conservancy’s magazine and planned giving newsletter. Plan and execute large and small membership and Leadership Circle events. Christ Church Episcopal School, Greenville, SC Director of Annual GivingDirected every aspect of the Annual Campaign including recruiting, training, and supervising, and motivating a team of over 50 volunteers. Planned and executed an exciting campaign kickoff and elegant recognition event for lead donors. Key Contributions:• Designed and led a fundraising training program for volunteers serving as ambassadors for the school and fundraisers for the Annual Fund.• Created successful and distinct strategies for ten different constituencies – including timing, messaging, frequency and staffing of asks and appeals.

Chatham Hall, Chatham, VA Associate Director of Advancement, Alumnae Relations & Annual GivingDirected the Annual Campaign with an emphasis on class giving, reunion giving, and Leadership Gifts. Led the Alumnae Association and Alumnae Council. Planned numerous alumnae events including a 4-day, annual, on-campus alumnae reunion. Developed innovative marketing materials for direct mail, events, and alumnae magazine. Recruited and managed volunteers, including a 90-member class agent program, and supervised all Annual Fund solicitation efforts. Key Contributions:• Exceeded Annual Fund goals of $1M each year.• Drove the integration of fundraising priorities into the work plans of the Alumnae Council and Alumnae Association.• Led major Alumnae and Parent events including a 1-day, 26-city “Toast from Coast to Coast” and annual 4-day reunion events designed to engage alumnae from the 1930s to the 2000s.
