Accountable for the solutions, design, programme/project management delivery and service performance of the Barclays Retail Western Europe IT Infrastructure to Country CIO’s. Overall team responsibility for 45 FTE and 120 virtual FTE across 7 locations.

Accountable for the successful delivery and customer satisfaction of a change portfolio of infrastructure projects and programmes (over 100 virtual resource, c£85m annual budget, diverse infrastructure technologies (Mainframe, Unix, Windows) to the Central Services and GISD CIO’s.

Accountable for the delivery of Business Intelligence (Data Warehouse Services) to the GRCB Exec (scoped across all bus. units). Also accountable for the transformation of the development approach.

Accountable for the performance of the CIO Wealth Technology function on an interim basis prior to the arrival of new recruit. Reported to Group CIO and had dotted line to Wealth business.

Accountable for the project and programme delivery management using new departmental Supplier Management approach (eg Accenture, BT etc) for the areas of the following portfolio:. Wealth Management, . IR&CB, . Barclays Capital, . BGI, . Barclaycard. Contact Centres.

Accountable for a portfolio of projects at various stages of the project life cycle. Inherited 2 particularly challenging Red projects which were subsequently delivered successfully. Accountable for the portfolio change delivery function of the following client areas :- PC&I, BarCap, BGI and Group for specific programmes such as ESD.

Accountabilities include day to day leadership of Service Integration Operations, effective departmental resource mgmt, external function integration, Demand / Supply strategy, MI production, contractor outsourcing, reduction of ‘out of line’ 3rd party costs, desksharing, roadshows to communicate new processes and operating model.

Accountable for the delivery of the Service Integration Change Programme. Objectives include:. achievement of the target resource reduction to agreed timescales, . designing and implementing the OD, processes, methods . integrating external areas (800 staff) to achieve benefits of department standardisation, . implement new standard desktop and departmental systems in support of the department operating model.

Accountable for the introduction of new processes and management structure whilst managing the overall portfolio for Planning & Finance. Member of the Department Executive, providing appropriate reporting and measures to support the introduction of new change through the inception process.

Accountable for developing new processes and function reorganisation to create new and more efficient structure whilst supporting the Head of Planning and Resource Management in producing the overall Development Plan and associated Management Processes.

Accountable for delivering the new Organisation Design (Practices) and corresponding cultural/leadership/HR/re-engineering process and business change into UK Systems Development, overcoming significant HR challenges, resulting in the organisation being more efficient and effective.

Accountable for the incepted of Securitisation and Loan Servicing Centres IT Sub Projects whilst supporting Securities Project through re-planning.

Accountable for delivery of Business Designs and Business Operational Designs for two releases, implementation of prototype, and completion of Health Check on Enhanced Risk Assessment Project.

Accountable for the delivery of pilot system to provide extra functionality and benefits directly relating to the poor quality of lending advisor data.
