-Industrial Air Emissions Monitoring-MCERTS Level 1 Technician

This job was working on board cruise ships for 6 month stints at a time. Some of the skills and experiences needed for the job was to work in a fast paced target driven environment, to work on your own initiative but also work as a good team member. Organizing and managing promotional events for high end products.

With this job it was my responsibility to check everything was in proper working order on campervans before they could be rented out, any mechanical problems were referred to a mechanic and any smaller items broken or needing replacing was done my myself

This was an "all rounder" position located in the outback of Australia, all rounder refers to a person who works in many different jobs within a roadhouse. these jobs were shop attendant, waiter, barman and receptionist for the motel

Working as a deckhand on a tall ship had many responsibilities such as coordinating daily tasks, climbing the 35 metre mast for furling and unfurling of the sails, setting the sails, dropping and retrieving the anchor, bow watch, communication with the captain over a radio, dingy driver, safety drills( man overboard, fire and evacuation drills), mast climb instructor for passengers, giving safety briefs and how to use a harness, maintenance work and training in new staff.
