Having a deep understanding of commercial challenges in the digital media landscape has given me the passion for leading companies into uncharted territory. My previous positions include building complex and commercially successful digital media properties from discovery to delivery, and then operations. My skillset has enabled the creation of world leading digital experience includes a first of a kind website with The Coca-Cola Japan Company (1997), first with “TV on-demand” for Television New Zealand (2007, and the first digital human survey platform with Feedback Avatars Ltd (2019). These platforms required the development of complex relationships and partnerships, leading to strong commercial outcomes.My joy learning new digital technologies is matched only by the thrill from sharing the power of technology with business leaders. I’m currently the go-to person within NZTE for knowledge on digital media, machine learning and AI, plus the partner manager at NZTE for Microsoft and AWS.
