Hello! I’m Manish Kumar Dwivedi, born in Gorakhpur (U.P.) and a graduate from Dehradun. Today, I serve as the Deputy General Manager at Physics Wallah, one of India’s biggest learning platforms, where I’m lucky to help shape the future of education.Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a doctor, but life’s pivots led me into engineering, government exams, and finally, entrepreneurship (talk about pivots). Alongside three friends from my hometown, I co-founded two ventures: bestofsuperheroes.com, an e-commerce platform, and therollingindian.com, an E-Media platform. Together, we scaled these businesses from ground zero, giving me invaluable experience in building from scratch. In 2018, I decided to broaden my horizons by moving out of my hometown to learn from industry experts and take my passion to new heights.With over 9 years of diverse professional experience spanning sales, marketing, growth strategy, operations, and project delivery, I thrive in challenging environments. I find joy in ambiguity and chaos, and my experiences have shaped me into someone who embraces new perspectives, cherishes learning, and continually pushes his limits. I have taken companies from 0 to 1 and 1 to 10.Here are some of the learnings I have gathered in 9+ years of my professional career: ↳I can build & scale a subscription business from ₹9.6 lakhs ARR to ₹20 Crores ARR.↳I can scale ₹12 Crore portfolio’s topline to ₹40 Crores in 1.5 years, all while ensuring profitability.↳I put customers at the center of every decision. I always ask myself, “Would I buy this, and if so, why?”↳I excel at executing big-scale projects with given constraints & limited resources.I am fairly intuitive but I always prioritize having data for my decision. I love breaking things down to micro-level and find connections, patterns and solutions↳I can align, train & lead a team ranging from 2 to 96 people.↳I love to win but when my team wins, it gives me greater joy.↳I am great at storytelling and often use it to motivate people and develop vision alignments.I am a great individual contributor-turned- leader. To this day, I enjoy performing the fundamental tasks and actively help the team in micro-executions. I have mentored and have grown leaders under me.I consider myself a lifelong student of business and life.
