During his first seven years at Salesforce.com, during which the company quickly rose from relative obscurity to become the most widely adopted CRM platform in the world, Greg served in both sales and strategic leadership roles. As an Account Executive, Greg’s accounts included Roche/Genentech, Blue Shield of California, Amazon.com, Levi’s and others. As Director of North American Sales Engineers, Greg managed an enterprise division that grew dramatically under his tenure. While managing up to 85 sales engineers at a time, Greg simultaneously developed key performance indicators that determined resource prioritization and process optimization, ensuring that his team could efficiently feed the company’s burgeoning pipeline.8 years ago, Greg continued his professional journey in the post sales world. At Optimizely, he developed the Tech Support, Professional Services, Customer Education, and Customer Success Teams. His passion for Customer Success brought him back to Salesforce where he ran the Commercial Success team for North America before taking on a role with the Professional Services team responsible for the development of the Scale team that drove a 60% growth of the average Services booking. Greg also brings 16 years of sales engineering experience at companies that were successfully acquired. Prior to his work at Salesforce.com, Greg worked at Grand Central, Inc., where he built the Software as a Service partner network for the On Demand Integration Platform. He also worked at Amberpoint, Inc., a tech startup which was recently acquired by Oracle, and webMethods, which was acquired by Software AG.
