As a Cloud Production Engineer, my roles and responsibilities in our organization include deploying builds / artifacts to targets like EC2 or ECS tasks, conducting required checks before deployment to the production environment, debugging, and optimizing the abnormalities of cloud resources to ensure efficient utilization and cost-effectiveness. This is achieved by utilizing tools such as Splunk, Datadog, CloudWatch, GitHub Actions (GHA), Terraform, and PagerDuty.I lead the monitoring of Chargebee's infrastructure, overseeing error tracking, AWS services, and job executions. I conduct thorough investigations to pinpoint and resolve issues within the SLA, while also maintaining reports to meet compliance and audit requirements using tools like Freshservice and JIRA.Additionally, I address incidents, service requests, and user concerns regarding cloud resources, ensuring high customer satisfaction levels. I actively participate in on-call rotations, delivering 24/7 support for critical production systems and ensuring swift incident response and resolution.

It covers topics such as cloud concepts, architecture, AWS services, security, and performance. It also provides hands-on experience with the AWS console, command line, and APIs. After completing the training, I'd a better understanding of the cloud, how to use AWS to build cloud solutions, and the benefits of cloud computing.
