I’m honored to represent Portland in government affairs. After working on multiple political campaigns, I entered the policy making role as a Housing Advisor and Chief of Staff to Portland City Commissioners. Later I became an advocate, Executive Director and representative for multiple nonprofit organizations focussed on housing and healthcare. I was a leader on multiple public policy and resource initiatives to address poverty and equity. I was motivated by the opportunity to have an even greater impact and was elected to Metro Council for two terms. There I was honored to champion and lead the passage of a regional affordable housing initiative, a program to reduce fares for low income transit riders, protect sensitive natural habitat, and establish new programs for women and minority-owned contractors
