I’m a design-oriented thinker with a passion for supporting entrepreneurs and the ecosystem that surrounds them in New Orleans (and beyond). I’m a skilled project and event manager, and I’m always excited to connect and learn more about new projects and ideas that are making New Orleans an incredible place to be.I moved to New Orleans from St. Louis, MO, to attend Loyola University in 2010, where I spent my undergrad years earning a degree in Psychology and a minor in Computational Sciences, all while playing in a variety of bands and touring the region and country extensively. During my undergrad years, I focused heavily on adolescent and educational psychology, which led to positions in education and motivated me to earn my master’s degree in education, specializing in higher education administration and student-focused programming.After earning my master’s degree from LSU, I became heavily involved in the entrepreneurial community. From 2018-2021, I worked as the Impact Manager for Entrepreneurship at Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans, developing my own network in the startup ecosystem. During that period, I grew the Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge, a statewide entrepreneurship competition for high school students, by nearly 400%. While in this role, I honed my web design and social media marketing skills, including a full redesign of the JA and Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge websites.In 2021, I took over as the Assistant Director for the Center for Entrepreneurship and Community Development at my alma mater, Loyola University New Orleans, where I have managed programming for undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, and the Loyola community at large, as well as marketing and program design for major events like the IDEAcorps MBA Consulting Challenge, Wolf Pack LaunchU, the Side Hustle Expo, and Innovate.LOYNO, turning entrepreneurship into a horizontal, campus-wide experience.
