Introduced new manufacturing process to Linx which together with collaboration in industrial design led to industrial design award in 2006.Leading process innovation: Implementing lean product development processes in Linx from 2007 to present. Implementation of visual project management (VPM) on NPD projects, contributing to on time, on spec, on cost success. Implemented improvements to technical problem solving approach at Linx from 2016 to present. Used soft systems methodology to drive improvements in programme management team. An agile enthusiast with regards to software development, taking role of product owner during NPD projects.

  Senior Programme Manager (2016 to present)Role is to lead a global programme management team (5 direct reports) based in UK and Germany (also China until 2020). I also lead my own projects. Achievements includeBuilt product development team of 6 in Shanghai. Initiated and launched new product development for local market.Developed and led project management teams in Huntingdon and St Ives such as to achieve 100% OTD and 80% OTD respectively. Linx 8800 and Videojet 1580 products launched on time, meeting product specification and cost target. Hawk product launched on time, cost and spec. As well as leading the Hawk project I took role of technical lead, Patent obtained.Programme Manager (2006 to 2015)My role was to deliver new product development projects, as programme manager of company-wide cross-functional teams. At times also line manager for multi-disciplined team of >20 engineers and scientists.. Achievements includeDelivered 8900 product, launched on time, to spec and on cost. Project team of 22 engineers and technicians. Lean product development processes for both hardware and software. 70% low cost region parts manufacture. CAPEX >£500k. OPEX budget >£4.0M. I also acted as technical lead. Product won a global Danaher innovation award and drove Linx growth to exceed 25% in its target markets in 2017.Delivered TJ725 (thermal ink jet, TIJ) product, launched 2012.
