Full-time student teaching in 6th grade Language arts under the teacher's supervision. Co-teaching, working one-on-one with students, observing, and will take the full-time lead for five weeks starting in February.

• Instruct high-intensity, 45–60-minute exercise classes in order to help 30+ clientele achieve their fitness goals. • Maintain an uplifting and motivational environment for clients.

• Help care for four children: 9 yrs., 8 yrs., 4 yrs., and 2 yrs. old. • Provide full-time care in the summer and part-time during the school year. Prepare meals, provide educational activities, and assist with homework and tutoring. • Often provide overnight stays, travel with the family, and assist in driving the children to various activities.

Serve as stand-in teacher, leading several social study and language arts lessons in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classes

• Assist the third-grade teacher with any help she needs inside her classroom as well as help manage the students.• Work individually with two specific students who have learning disabilities providing guidance through assignments, quizzes and class work. • Provide support to a student with special needs by guiding use of instructional materials, one-on-one tutoring, facilitating classroom engagement, and ensuring safety.• Flexible and always willing to step into a classroom at any time when there is an urgent aide needed.

• Assisted the school site director in planning and organizing activities before and after the program.• Facilitated enrichment activities on a monthly basis to engage children’s learning in Math, Science, History, and Culture.• Monitored children participating in snacks, outdoor play, enrichments, and other educational activities while maintaining a 12:1 student-to-teacher ratio.
